Race Weekend at Shawnigan Lake has something for everyone, and there is still time to register and start your season off right! As a competitor of any level you have the choice of 3 distances - Sprint, Olympic and Half Iron. You can also join a relay instead of participating on your own. We can help you find a team. This event is a great first timer event and it is shaping up to be a memorable weekend filled with festival activities including fireworks, entertainment, expo and kids activities. Take advantage of the opportunity to dine with the pros on Saturday and start the race with them on Sunday.

Avoid the HST and save money! Unfortunately HST must be charged
starting May 1, 2010 on all race fees for races that take place after
July 1st. If you would like to avoid paying the additional 7% (HST will
be 12% comprised of the 5% GST already applied and an additional 7%)
please register by April 30, 2010 for any race taking place after July
1, 2010, and BEAT THE HST!

We are still looking for volunteers! We are having a volunteer training night on Thursday, May 27th at the Shawnigan Lake School which all volunteers are encouraged to attend. Join the volunteer team for the 1st event of the Series - the Subaru Shawnigan Lake Triathlon. At the end of the day, volunteers are a huge part of making the participant experience memorable and successful. Athletes will thank you for giving them water, for keeping them on course, for stopping traffic and for cheering them on when they feel they can't go any further.
