Registration opens today for the individual events in the 2012 Subaru
Western Triathlon Series. Special early-bird prices are in effect
including all Half Ironman races under $200! Set your goals now for

Calgary's Grant Burwash, the 2010 runner up of the inaugural Subaru Banff Triathlon, returned to Banff in 2011 where he claimed the top spot. Burwash was challenged for most of the race by Ironman UK Champion Scott Neyedli. On the Women's side, Vancouver's Martina Wan had a convincing 6 minute victory to claim the title. With weather conditions of 28C and sunny, the age group athletes were treated to incredible mountain backdrops and celebrated their accomplishments finishing down famous Banff Ave. For race results go here ...

Banff National Park will once again play host to the Subaru Banff International Triathlon on September 10, 2011.
