Saunders Family Walk, Danone Kids' Run & Expo at Elk Lake on June 16

Come out for the Danone Kids Fun Run and Saunders Family Walk, happening on Saturday, June 16th. The Danone Kids Fun Run at 2pm is FREE for kids 3-12 years old and will feature three distances. All participants get a race bib, finisher's ribbon, Danone Yogurt and other goodies! Registration for this event will be on site prior to the event at 2pm.
The Saunders Family Walk will be happening at 2:30pm, following the Danone Kids Fun Run at Hamsterly Beach at Elk Lake Park. A recreational walk of 1k, 3k, or loop of Elk Lake (10k) will be offered and everyone is invited! Walkers will be given a gift kit, refreshments, and valuable draw prizes will be awarded. Join some of the pro athletes, special guests and walkers of all ages for this fun healthy walk at beautiful Elk Lake.

When: Saturday, June 16th – Kids’ Run @ 2pm, Saunders Walk @ 2:30pm
Where: Elk Lake Park - Hamsterly Beach (at the north end of Elk Lake)
Distances: Kids’ Run – 300m, 800m and 1.5k; Family Walk - 1k, 3k, and 10k (loop of the Lake)

Sport & Lifestyle Expo on Saturday & Sunday
The Saunders Subaru Victoria Triathlon Sport & Lifestyle Expo will take place at Hamsterly Beach at Elk Lake Park and will be open on Saturday from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm and on Sunday, Race Day from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Café Yucatan will be on site serving up their famous pizza and other hot foods all weekend.
The Expo will feature food vendors, entertainment and retail vendors and booths including:
- K-Swiss (featuring Subaru Tri Series Commemorative Race Gear!)
- Aqua Sphere - The Aqua Sphere tent will have free wetsuit demos Saturday! Goggles, swimsuits, fins and wetsuits will be available for purchase, and wetsuit rentals will be available for race day.
- Pacific Institute for Sports Excellence
