Saturday, May 26

2:00PM:

Kids Free Fun Run - Fun family-oriented run, with lots of fun things for the kids.

4:00PM:
Mandatory: Pre-Race Meeting, Bike Drop, Race Package Pick-Up on Saturday - All bikes must be dropped off and secured overnight at West Shawnigan Lake Provincial Park on Saturday May 26 from 1:00PM to 6:00PM, no exceptions. 

5:00-7:00PM:  

Athlete Dinner  

Immediately following the pre-race meeting, come next door and dine with your peers, pros, volunteers and race organizers in  Camp Pringle's beautiful dining hall!

Sunday, May 27 - Race Day

5:30AM - 7:15AM (Bus shuttle for everyone - Half IM, Sprint, Olympic, Relays & Spectators):

Parking will not be permitted in the Provincial Park on race day but a bus shuttle service will be available free of charge from 5:30AM to 8:05AM from the Shawnigan Lake Community Centre (2804 Shawnigan Lake Road East) to the Provincial Park. 

6:00AM - 8:45AM:

Body marking and Timing Chip pick-up

7:30AM:

The Half IM race will be one single wave in waist deep water start at 7:30AM.  This is a 2 lap course staying in the water.

8:30AM:

The OLYMPIC race will be one single wave in waist deep water.  This is a 2 lap course that follows the same route as the Half IM, but turns earlier.

9:15AM:

The SPRINT race will be one single wave in waist deep water.  This is a 1 lap course that follows the same route as the Half IM, but turns earlier.

11:00am:

Removal of bikes from transition for the Sprint & Olympic finishers will be restricted to certain times.

11:00am:

SPRINT awards ceremonies.

12:30PM:

Bike cut-off for all participants.  If have not finished the bike course by 12:30PM, regardless of which race, participants will not be allowed to continue.

11AM - 5:00PM:

Return bus shuttle service will be available free of charge from 12:15PM to 5:00PM from the Provincial Park to your car in your designated parking area.  You cannot take your bike onto the bus, so you will have to retrieve your vehicle and return to the Provincial Park to pick up your bike.  You can also ride your bike back to your bus shuttle parking area.

12:30PM:

SPRINT/OLYMPIC awards ceremony.

12:45-4:30PM  Bus Shuttle: return bus shuttle service will be available free of charge from the Provincial Park to your car in your designated parking area. You cannot take your bike onto the bus so you will have to retrieve your vehicle and return to the Provincial Park to pick up your bike. You can also ride your bike back to your bus shuttle parking area.

2:30PM:

HALF IM awards ceremony.

3:00PM

Half IM run cut-off, all Half IM participants that have not finished their run by 3:00PM will not have a finishing time.
