Provincial Membership/ Day of Race License Fees

Individual Registrations:

Non Members

  • An additional "Day of Race" license fee will be charged if no current and VALID TriBC, ATA or STAC membership # is provided. If you have a membership from another province or country, you must pay the “Day of Race” license fee (only Tri BC, ATA and STAC memberships are eligible as per the insurance policy). For any races occurring in British Columbia, the “Day of Race” fee is $15. For races taking place in Alberta or Saskatchewan there is a $20 fee. If TriBC, ATA or STAC 2013 memberships are not available at the time of registration (prior to January 1st, 2013) you will be reimbursed $15 upon request for the BC races (or $20 for the Alberta and Saskatchewan races) with proof of new membership by January 31st.

Current Members

  • In order to have the “Day of Race” license fee waived, a current and valid TriBC, ATA or STAC # must be provided. Membership #'s are now being validated against current membership databases. In order to properly validate your membership, please ensure that your date of birth and Membership Number are accurate. ATA #s must have a prefix of ATA or 13ATA. If you currently hold a 2012 membership and 2013 memberships are not yet available, you will not be charged but are obligated to renew your membership for the 2013 season by January 31st in order to receive insurance coverage and be allowed entry to the races.

Registration Policy

  • After January 31st, 2013 all entries are non-refundable. Before January 31st, refunds are permissible minus a $50 fee, plus GST and processing. Participants withdrawing from the race WILL NOT be given a refund after January 31st.

  • For BC race entries, your payment will act as a non-refundable deposit (or a refundable deposit if eligible under the terms of the registration policy) to reserve a spot in the race. Eligible races include only those that occur in British Columbia from April 1st, 2013 onwards. On April 1st, 2013, the full payment is due and your deposit will be allocated to the outstanding amount thereby paying your entry in full. This is only applicable to those who are registering before April 1st, 2013, for BC races.
  • Transfers (to a different Series event) and deferrals (to a subsequent year’s event) will be allowed subject to a $50 fee, plus GST and processing. You have up until 10 DAYS before the race day (the Friday the week before Race Week) to request a transfer or deferral.  No transfers or deferrals will be allowed after this period.
  • Entries MAY NOT be transferred to another person.  Likewise, Seasons Passes MAY NOT be shared among different people. Only the person who is registered for the Seasons Pass may use it.
  • If you have purchase a Seasons Pass and cannot race due to medical conditions, you may defer your Seasons Pass to next year for a $75 fee, plus GST and processing before the deferral deadline of the first Series event of the season (10 days before the race).  Deferrals will not be allowed after this date.  Transfers to another person are not permitted with a Seasons Pass.  You will also have to provide medical evidence from a doctor.
  • Event changes are allowed up until the end of the regular registration period. If a change is possible you will have to pay a $20 fee plus GST and processing (about 5%). If you want to move into a more expensive event, you will also need to pay the difference in cost (eg. Moving from the Olympic to Half-Iron would be more expensive than moving from the Olympic to Sprint)
  • An injury will not exclude you from any of the above stated policies.
  • The Series staff reserves the right to deny any transfers or deferrals for any reason.
  • The Series staff reserves the right to modify the course at any time to ensure the safety of the participants
