- Race package pic-up
- Bike drop - all bikes must be dropped off and secured overnight at Hamsterly Beach on Saturday - NO EXCEPTIONS
- Bike Mechanic on site
1:30pm: Swim Skills Lecture - Presented by Aqua Sphere
- Learn how to navigate the course with calm and confidence
- More experienced swimmers can pick up some key tips to improve performance
- This lecture will take place at the swim start and will be put on by an expert LifeSport coach
2:00pm: Free DANONE Kid's Fun Run - Hamsterly Beach
3:15pm: Ironman Training Seminar - Presented by PowerBar
- Enjoy a lecture on the fundamentals of successful Ironman training
- A senior LifeSport coach will walk you through the fundamentals of how to build current triathlon fitness into a successful Ironman finish
- The lecture touches on heart rate training, pace work, specificity, and Ironman performance nutrition
4:00pm: Mandatory Pre-Race Meeting - Hamsterly Beach
- Everyone must attend this important meeting for last minute details and important race information
Sunday, June 16 - Race Day
5:00am - 6:30pm: Parking - Hamsterly Beach
- Parking will be limited at Hamsterly Beach
- Please try to car-pool or arrange to be dropped off at the race site
- Please do not park on Brookleigh Road as this endangers the cyclists - cars parked here will be towed
5:30am - 7:00pm: Body Marking/Timing Chip Pick-Up
- A bike mechanic will be on site
5:30am: Transition Opens
